Our door lock kit is designed to replace the original “L” shaped utility door locks found on many vintage trailers including 1968-1974 boler and most models of Scamp trailers.
Using common tools the average DIY’er can replace their door lock with a modern Bauer lockset with deadbolt.

This kit comes with a selection of spacers to achieve the required door thickness of between 1⅛” to 1⅜” thick.  NOTE: the lock will not work on doors thicker than 1½”

If you plan on installing this lock on any other trailer than a boler please Contact Me.  This lock kit will NOT fit fibreglass trailers that have a moulded profile around the door lock like Trillium and Burro.  The area around the door lock must be flat and smooth on both the inside and outside with a door thickness no more than 1½”.

NOTE: I hand build the adapter plates for each lock kit order, I try to keep inventory on hand but if I run out of adapter plates your order can take several days to assemble.  If there is any delay with your order I will send you an email with expected shipping date
